Do You Know the King?

If you've never met the King that Nick Pino was talking about, you can!  It's as simple as 1-2- 3.  First, admit to God that you are a sinner and that you need His forgivenessThat means that you    recognize your need of Him.  Second, confess with your mouth that Jesus is LordThat simply means you accept Him as the Boss and Lord of your life.  Third, believe that God raised Him (Jesus) from the deadJesus said that He would rise again from the dead, and He did!

Welcome to my Website!

Welcome to The Lord's Minstrel web page.  I'm Nick Pino, and I'm glad you've decided to visit today.

What exactly  does "The Lord's Minstrel" mean?  First of all, "the Lord" is referring to the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Bible says that in Him (the Lord or God) we live and move and have our being.  Whether you know it or not, that means you and I get our very life from a Higher Being - God Himself.  In fact, nothing exists in this world that He didn't make.  In this world we live in, where there is so much confusion and heartache, it should bring us great peace and comfort to know that SOMEONE is in charge and knows how things should be!

Jesus Christ IS God Himself, and because of this He is the King over all kings and the Lord over all lords.  That means He deserves our honor and respect.  In days of old, a king might call in a musician called a minstrel.  The minstrel would play instruments (perhaps a harp or lyre) to bring pleasure to the king's heart.

Since Jesus is the greatest King of all, and since He has granted me the gifts of playing instruments and singing, the very least I can do is give these gifts back to Him by playing and singing for Him.  Thus the name, The Lord's Minstrel, came about.

Please Enjoy Your Stay.
